Product integrity for the long term If you examine a piece of Canwood furniture carefully, you will notice that every panel is made up of narrow strips of wood. We refer to these narrow strips as "lamells". This narrow lamell design, when coupled with our radio frequency laminating (imagine the glue joints being cured in a huge microwave) is far superior to the wide lamell construction which is common in many products. It virtually eliminates warping which may readily occur when wide boards of 3" or more in width are glued together. The panel construction techniques employed in the Off-Shore Manufactured Collections, described under "The Wood", may vary from those employed by Canwood. "BTA"....breeze to assemble All Canwood furniture is produced on the European 32mm system , which requires sophisticated equipment and absolute precision during manufacturing. As a result, you can be confident that the fit and joinery is absolutely accurate. | |
