We are constantly exploring world sources for new and innovative fastening systems. Above all, hardware must be durable. The stresses to which each joint are likely to be subjected are carefully considered and tested.

All chests and cabinets incorporate concealed cast-metal cam locks from reputable European suppliers. Items requiring extra strength, such as beds, desks, and chairs are equipped with metal-to-metal bolt and barrel nut fasteners. All of these types of connections are far superior to the wood block and screw methods which are still used by many manufacturers.

In all chests and dressers, drawers run on metal sliders which provide ease of operation under load. A drawer stop is also incorporated as an important element for child safety.

Units with doors are equipped with fully adjustable European hinges, to ensure that the doors hang evenly.

Since furniture is generally repositioned after it has been assembled, all cam locks and bolts should be tightened after two weeks use.

Case units over 36" high also include an anti-tipping restraint, which secures the unit to a wall, providing protection should a child climb the furniture.
