Recent Announcements and Important Dates

March 14, 2008 - Press Release

Canwood Furniture announced its intention to windup its manufacturing operations in Penticton, B.C.

June 12, 2008 - Press Release

 Canwood Furniture Inc. and Stork Craft Manufacturing Inc. announced that Canwood's brands & trademarks had been acquired by Stork Craft. While this development will not affect the windup of the Penticton-based operations, it will provide product continuity to Canwood retailers and consumers.

Many Canwood items are still available through Canwood retailers from coast-to-coast, although primarily in Canada. Consequently, our website has been left largely intact as a convenient reference.

Stork Craft will supply many of Canwood's most popular youth bedroom collections commencing in fall 2008. As indicated in the June 12th press release, it is anticipated that the Base Camp Bunk Bed Series, Whistler Junior Loft Group, Mates Beds, an array of Erika chests, desks, dressers and bookcases, together with the Sunridge Bunk Bed Series, the latter being an enhanced replacement of Alpine, will be available.

For the past two decades, we have been fortunate to enjoy the support of retailers and consumers across Canada and the USA, together with several countries overseas. Please accept our sincere gratitude for your support and patronage.
